Q Is "Roadcraft" registered with any professional organisation?
A Yes - MSA (Motor Schools Ascociation)
  
Q Do I have to pay the full course fees before the first lesson?
A No - But generous reductions are given for lessons paid for in advance.
Q Can I pay the instructor before or after each lesson?
A All lessons must be paid for at the start of the session.
Q Is there a discount for students?
A Yes - Competitive reductions offered. Click here  for our Standard Rates.
Q Is there a discount if fees are paid in advance?
A Yes - If 10 hours or more are booked in advance, refer to our Standard Rates.
Q What methods of payment do Roadcraft accept?
A At present Cash or Cheque supported by bankers card.
Q Do I have to pay for the Test fee separately or as an extra?
A The test fee is completely separate and payable to the DSA.
Q Can I arrange lessons at a time to suit myself?
A Yes - Wherever possible and practical.
Q Are lessons given at weekends?
A Yes - Saturdays are extremely popular. The instructors do not work on Sundays.
Q If I have to cancel a pre-arranged lesson do I forfeit that lesson?
A No - But 24 hours notice is required unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Q Can the lesson start at any location (home, college or place of work)?
A Yes - Wherever possible and reasonable but subject to prior arrangement
Q How long is each lesson?
A Lessons are generally of 2 hours duration but 1 hour lessons can be arranged.
Q How many lessons on average are recommended before taking the test?
A Approximately 2 hours tuition per year of age on average.
Q Is a lesson taken just prior to the actual test?
A Yes - The test session is 2 hours with the first hour for final preparation.
Q How do I cancel a pre-arranged lesson?
A By Phone or e-mail to "RoadCraft" with at least 24 hours notice.
Q If I decide to cancel after I have paid in full do I get a refund?
A Yes - providing the required notice period is given for all paid lessons.
Q If the car were to beakdown during a lesson would I get another lesson?
A Yes - but this would depend on how much of the lesson remained.
Q Do I have the same instructor throughout the entire course?
A Yes - wherever possible or unless you would prefer a change.
Q Do I use the same car throughout the entire course?
A Yes - or a similar car will be provided during routine servicing or repairs.
Q Does "Roadcraft" supply a copy of the highway code?
A Arrangements can be made to supply study material if required.
Q Do you arrange the "Theory" test?
A Yes - we can if so requested
Q Is the "Theory" test an additional cost?
A Yes - currently the cost is £20.50 payable direct to the DSA.
Q Am I fully insured in the event of an accident?
A Yes - all persons under instruction are fully insured as required by legislation.
Q Who is liable should an accident happen during a lesson?
A Whatever the circumstances the student is protected by "RoadCraft" insurance.
Q May I bring a friend along during any lesson?
A Yes - subject to prior permission and Insurance company approval.
Q Do I receive tuition for the theory test?
A Assistance is available upon request for both theory and hazard perception.
Q Are there any other products available such as books, videos, CD's and DVD's?
A Yes - "Roadcraft" would be pleased to offer advice.
